Sure Shine was started in 2019 by Andrew Perelka, a Cleveland native and John Carroll University alum who spent his summers in Marblehead, Ohio and has been around boats his whole life.
The story
From summers on the water to full-time on the water.
What started as washing and detailing for the love of it became a full-time profession after college. Since then Andrew has built a team of trained, enthusiastic detailers and taken Sure Shine from Marblehead to Cleveland and out to Roaming Shores, leaving its mark on the Western Basin Lake Erie boating community.
The passion for perfection is the product: clients get their vessel back stress-free and ready to enjoy, and the crew brings the skills and knowledge of marine vessels that superior service actually requires.
